4D HIFU is a genuine no-downtime treatment. Most clients walk out and carry on with their day — many come in on a lunch break. Mild redness, warmth, tenderness or tingling in the treated area is normal and usually settles within a few hours; occasionally it lasts a day or two.

To protect your results, avoid saunas, steam, very hot showers, intense exercise and alcohol for 24–48 hours, and pause strong actives such as acids or retinoids on the area for about a week. You may notice early firming within days of treatment, but the real results build gradually: most clients see the fullest lift at around three months, as new collagen remodels and firms the treated layers. It is a natural process, so it takes time — and no one will know you have had anything done unless you tell them.

Results typically last two to three years, influenced by age, skin condition and lifestyle. Many clients return for a lighter maintenance session each year to stay ahead of laxity. One session is enough for most people; deeper laxity may benefit from a short course.
