How does the carbon facial work?
Carbon is remarkably good at grabbing what your skin wants rid of: sebum, dead cells and the gunk inside blackheads. Once the layer has bonded to that debris, the laser energy vaporises the carbon — and takes everything attached to it with it, in a fraction of a second.
That does three useful things at once: it exfoliates more evenly and deeply than manual extraction, it clears pore-blocking oil, and the brief heat pulse signals the upper dermis to produce fresh collagen. Downtime and aftercare
There is genuinely no downtime. Some skin looks slightly pink for an hour or so, and that is the extent of it — most clients go straight back to work or errands. Makeup can be worn the same day if you must, though we recommend letting fresh skin breathe until the evening.
For the first 24–48 hours, avoid saunas, intense exercise and strong actives (acids, retinoids), and wear SPF daily as with any laser treatment. Keep the routine simple and hydrating for a day or two and your skin will thank you.
Results and sessions needed
The glow is immediate — skin looks clearer, brighter and more even from the first session. Each session’s results typically last 2–3 weeks, which is why one-off treatments are popular before events while courses suit ongoing concerns.
For oily skin, congestion or mild acne, a course of 4–6 sessions spaced 2–3 weeks apart gives the best improvement, with monthly maintenance afterwards if you love the effect.
