Microblading uses a fine row of needles to implant pigment in crisp, individual hair strokes — ideal for a natural look on normal-to-dry skin. Powder and ombre brows use a small device to build soft layers of shading, like a gentle eyebrow powder; they are the most reliable choice for oily skin, where hair strokes blur faster. Combo brows combine both: strokes at the front, shading through the body of the brow.

In every case the pigment sits in the upper dermis — shallow enough to soften naturally as your skin renews, deep enough to hold for years. Before any pigment goes in, your brow shape is mapped to your facial proportions and you approve the design in a mirror. You have the final say on shape, style and colour before treatment begins.

Week by week: days 1–3, brows look darker and sharper than the finished result — this is normal, not a mistake. Days 4–10 bring light flaking, and colour can look patchy mid-week — resist picking at it. Weeks 2–4, the flaking finishes and your true healed colour settles; expect the final result to be noticeably softer and lighter than day one, with strokes fine and natural.

During the first 10–14 days keep the area clean and dry: no water directly on the brows, no workouts that make you sweat heavily, no swimming, no makeup on the area, and no sun. Apply only the aftercare balm we provide. After healing, SPF on your brows will slow colour fade. The finished result shows after your 4–6 week top-up — this is when symmetry and colour are perfected, and it is priced as a top-up (£60 for the 4–6 week session). Brows then typically last 1–3 years depending on skin type, sun exposure and lifestyle: oilier skin fades faster, and microblading fades faster than powder on oily skin, which is why we match technique to skin.

Most clients return for a colour boost every 12–18 months to keep the definition fresh. Because colour fades gradually, you never face a sudden line — it softens, and you decide when to refresh. Existing or old brow work can also be corrected or removed; ask at your consultation.

Semi-permanent make-up is a two-step commitment to safety: a free consultation with full medical history, and a mandatory patch test at least 48 hours before treatment to rule out pigment sensitivity.
